Private labels

Various opticians or eye specialists bring contact lenses onto the market under their own name as a so-called 'private label' brand. These lenses are usually produced by well-known contact lens manufacturers but are packaged under a different name so that customers cannot find these contact lenses anywhere else and so have to come back if they want to continue wearing the same contact lenses. You usually have to pay a lot more for exactly the same contact lenses.

So don’t walk into the trap of buying a private label as only your wallet will notice the difference!

In order to avoid legal problems, we are no longer able to give out (reveal) the names of some private labels. If you are unable to find your brand, just send us an e-mail via the contact page and we will tell you what brand you are using.

A list of 'private labels' we are familiar with is shown below. Click on the name in the second column in order to compare the same contact lens you are wearing with the well-known alternative brand. If your lenses are not yet shown on the list, you can always send us a full description (material, water content, diameter, radius) of your lenses so that we can find out whether or not they are a new private label brand. Should you have any other questions, just send us an e-mail! If you want to try some different lenses, you can also choose to order a tester pack.
